Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Crime Reports: Morning of July 11, 2013

The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's reports are from the morning of Thursday, July 11, 2013.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 900 Block of East 10th reported to Sedalia Police that someone had stolen a stereo valued at $250 and a Nikon digital camera valued at $500 from his car between 11:30 p.m. on July 6 and 1:51 p.m. on July 7.

A man in the 800 Block of East 15th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a toolbox and tools from the back of his truck between 11:30 p.m. on July 9 and 5:45 a.m. on July 10.

A man in the 1100 Block of West 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into his home and removed the copper wiring upstairs and in the basement between June 27 and July 10.

A woman in the 1800 Block of South Lamine reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into her home and cut the cords to the washer, dryer, furnace and stove between June 26 and July 10.

A woman in the 1900 Block of South Missouri reported to Sedalia Police that her social security card and debit card was stolen from her home on July 1 and $180 was withdrawn from the area ATMs between July 1 and 10.

A woman in the 500 Block of South Lafayette reported to Sedalia Police that her cell phone valued at $90 was stolen on July 10.

Katy Motors Company at 4211 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a navigation system out of the truck.

Hit-and-Run Accident Reported

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her car was hit in Bing's parking lot at 1400 South Limit. The left rear bumper was damaged on July 7 between 11:05 and 11:30 a.m.
