The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's reports are from the morning of Tuesday, July 2, 2013.

Several Thefts Reported

Plaza 16 at 120 East 16th reported to Sedalia Police that a red awning valued at $500 was stolen between June 21 and 30.

A man in the 200 Block of East Main reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke a window to his business causing $150 in damages between 5 p.m. on June 25 and 8 a.m. on June 26.

A woman in the 2600 Block of Brandon Terrace reported to Sedalia Police that 2 ½ cartons of cigarettes and a Tom Tom GPS valued at $330 were stolen out of her car between 9:30 p.m. on June 29 and 9 a.m. on June 30.

A woman in the 2500 Block of East 10th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a Garmin GPS valued at $99 out of her car between 2 p.m. on June 30 and 9:30 a.m. on July 1.

A woman in the 500 Block of East Saline reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole bathroom tissue valued at $5.50 from her car.

A woman in the 1400 Block of Air Park Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that her 2007 Pontiac car was damaged by a neighborhood child on July 1.

A woman in the 400 Block of North Vermont in Green Ridge reported to Pettis County Deputies that her children were being bullied. The matter was referred to the Pettis County Juvenile Office.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Devin Montgomery for failure to appear, bond set at $10,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Danny Hayworth for two charges of failure to appear for child neglect, bond set at $4,000 cash and $500 surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jovani Montano for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Shenna Bartlett for failure to appear for driving while suspended and no insurance, bond set at $100.

Sedalia Police arrested Amy Allison for failure to appear, bond set at $86.50.

Sedalia Police arrested 18-year-old Joshua Mettford for driving while intoxicated with drugs after Sedalia Police detected an odor of marijuana from his car during the sobriety checkpoint on Saturday.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Michell McKinney for an outstanding warrant.
