Sedalia Police Investigate a Robbery

Employees of Russell Stover at 1021 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that there was a robbery on Saturday night (April 26). A male subject entered the business and told the person to give him all the money in the register. The reporting person gave the suspect the money and he left the building. Sedalia Police are following leads on the robbery case.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate a Sexual Assault Case

Pettis County Deputies are investigating a reported sexual assault case that happened in Smithton on April 26.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A man in the 800 Block of Ruth Ann Drive reported to Sedalia Police that a cell phone and radar detector valued at $370 was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

A man in the 800 Block of West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a $250 Kodak digital camera from his vehicle on Saturday (April 26).

A man reported to Sedalia Police that a suspect stole $66 in newspapers yesterday (April 27) from Bing's West, Wood's and Breaktime at Highway 50 and Moniteau.

A woman in the 3500 Block of South Grand reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole a blue Mongoose bicycle on Saturday (April 26).

A woman in the 3400 Block of South Grand reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her center hub cap of the vehicle yesterday (April 27).

A man in the 11000 Block of North King Road in Marshall, reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole some items, between April 18 and 26.

Pettis County Deputies received a report yesterday (April 27) of property damage, involving vehicles stuck in the field on Yeater Road.

A man in the 22000 Block of Mathers Road reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone beat his mailbox in and damaged it on the night of April 25 or morning of April 26.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in the 700 Block of East Broadway, between 6:30 and 7 pm on April 25. The woman's vehicle had two deep scratches on the passenger side and some minor scuffing.

A man in the 26000 Block of Goodwill Chapel Road, reported to Pettis County Deputies that he was bit by an animal on April 27.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested William Barefield for assault, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Matthew Zentner for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jacob Haulcy for a public peace disturbance, for being involved in a fight in the 300 Block of West 7th, bond set at $283 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Rachel Lamb for failure to appear, bond set at $250.

Sedalia Police arrested Beth Ford and Victoria Williams for failure to appear.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Micah Clark for two charges of  2nd degree assault, after being involved in a physical fight.

Pettis County Deputies arrested David Izoita for exceeding the posted speed limit.
