Pettis County Deputies Investigate a Reported Case of Sexual Abuse

Pettis County Deputies are investigating a report of a possible sexual abuse of an 8-year-old boy by a 13-year-old boy. The incident is currently under investigation by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office and the Pettis County Juvenile Office.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman in the 100 Block of South Grand reported to Sedalia Police that her 2001 Cadillac DHS was stolen after it was loaned out for three hours on Sept. 8. The vehicle has still not been returned and is considered stolen.

A woman in the 1800 Block of South Ingram reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her vehicle on Sept. 7 and was returned, but had damage on it.

A man in the 400 Block of East 24th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a couch and love seat yesterday (Sept. 10) from the home, valued at $2,500. A chair leg was also broken in the home.

A man in the 200 Block of South Washington reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole $250 from the home yesterday (Sept. 10).

A woman in the 5600 Block of Highway 65, reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole several items from the home yesterday morning (Sept. 10).

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Dylan Seevers for a Sedalia Municipal failure to appear, bond set at $200 cash and a Pettis County failure to appear, bond set at $1,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested William Fizer for a probation violation, bond set at $500 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Bradley Powers for failure to appear for not wearing a seat belt, bond set at $10 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested James Miller for a probation violation.
