Pettis County Deputies Find a Missing Juvenile

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a missing juvenile yesterday (Sept. 29). The 16-year-old juvenile was found this morning (Sept 30) and returned to family and juvenile authorities.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Investigated

Yesterday afternoon (Sept. 29), Sedalia Police went to the 1800 Block of South Sneed on a report that someone tried breaking into a victim’s home. The victim saw two vehicles in front of the home. Several people got out of the vehicles and approached the home yelling. One suspect kicked the door and tried entering the home, but the victim managed to shut the door before they got in. One of the suspects then went to back to one of the vehicles, got a golf club, broke a vehicle windshield and left the scene.

A car was stolen in the 800 Block of East 5th between 10 a.m. on Sept. 26 and 2 p.m. on Sept. 27.

Pettis County Deputies are investigating a case of property damage after someone damaged a car in the 21000 Block of Morgan Road in Pettis County.

A man in the 900 Block of South Grand reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into the home and stole three lighted Stag Beer signs, a bicycle and some small items on Saturday (Sept. 28).

A woman in the 1100 Block of East 7th reported to Sedalia Police that several items were stolen from the home yesterday (Sept. 29).

A man in the 23000 Block of Highway MM reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole three deer stands from his property sometime since July 1.

A man in the 23000 Block of Route O reported to Pettis County Deputies that a Sony CD player was stolen on Saturday night (Sept. 28).

A man in the 14000 Block of Drake Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that some items were stolen from a barn on Saturday (Sept. 28).

Employees of Bank 21 reported to Sedalia Police that someone attempted to pass two checks that may have been a forgery, totaling $800, between Sept. 20 and 24.

Two Cases of Harassment Investigated

Pettis County Deputies are investigating a reported case of harassment that happened on the night of Sept. 28.

A woman in the 1500 Block of East 7th reported to Sedalia Police that she had received a threatening message on her cell phone from a subject that had been arrested.

Sedalia Police Arrest Five Suspects

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Kronk for having a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $5,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Travis Boone for a Sedalia failure to appear charge, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Tanner for driving while suspended and not having an operator’s license.

Sedalia Police arrested Jared Monsees for stealing from Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested Reginald Walls Jr. for driving while suspended.
