The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, August 27, 2015.

Sedalia Police issued more information on the report of limestone that fell from the roof of the First United Methodist Church in Downtown Sedalia late yesterday morning (August 26). Sedalia Police reported the ridge cap from the church had come off on the eastside of the church and feel between the church and the Sedalia Water Department. The Sedalia Fire Department and Police Department took precautions until a crane came and fixed the issue. The roads are back open on 4th and Osage, however the sidewalk was blocked off this morning.

Ane employee of Dollar General, at 713 East Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police three subjects stole items from the store, last night (August 27).

Pettis County Deputies received a report of a bicycle that was stolen in the Boonville Trailer Park on August 24.

An employee of Walmart found a prescription bottle containing a variety of drugs and paraphernalia in it. Sedalia Police entered it into found property for destruction.

A woman from Sedalia reported to Sedalia Police she lost her Missouri Driver's license, while at the Missouri State Fair on August 21.

Sedalia Police arrested Brian Jefferson for domestic assault in the 2nd.
