The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, June 25, 2015.

Sedalia Police received a tip that a Sedalia Housing Authority tenant was using drugs. Sedalia Police searched the apartment in question and found a pipe, grinder, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in plain view on the table. Sedalia Police also found a small child inside the home. The unnamed person will face charges of unlawful transaction with a child, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The child abuse hotline was also notified.

25-year-old Clifford Hutler faces two charges of statutory rape, one charge of statutory sodomy and two charges of child molestation in the 1st degree after an investigation determined that he had sexual intercourse with a juvenile on more than one occasion.

Sedalia Police arrested William Ross for a Pettis County warrant for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety.
Pettis County Deputies recovered a bicycle in the 31000 Block of Route U. The bicycle was reportedly stolen.
