Sedalia Police Investigate A Disturbance Involving a Weapon

Yesterday morning (July 28), Sedalia Police went to the 1300 Block of South Prospect for a report of a possible disturbance with weapons. A victim said that he was asleep in a neighbor's yard, when he awoke to a guy with a gun yelling at him.

Yesterday (July 28), a man in the 4200 Block of Wisconsin Avenue reported to Sedalia Police that he was assaulted by an unknown suspect.

Sedalia Police Investigate Hit & Run Accident

An employee of the Missouri Department of Transportation, reported to Sedalia Police that one of the vehicles were involved in a hit and run accident. A utility tractor was struck by a vehicle, which left the scene without providing information.

A woman in the 400 Block of East 7th reported to Sedalia Police that someone cracked the driver's side mirror of her vehicle.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman in the 300 Block of Buckner Court reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her catalytic convertor from her van on the morning of July 26.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her purse and contents were taken from her vehicle on Sunday (July 27) in the area of 2nd and Missouri.

An employee of Casey's, at 3050 South Limit, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a gas drive off yesterday (July 28).

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Kenneth Smith for trespassing and failure to obey, bond set at $816.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Wesley Bradley for failure to appear, bond set at $200.

Sedalia Police arrested William Warren for domestic assault in the 2nd.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Liborio Waldo for charges of domestic assault.

Sedalia Police arrested Carla Aguirre for stealing $29 in merchandise from Walmart.
