Sedalia Police Chase Down Fast Motorcyclist

Last night (June 17), Sedalia Police followed a motorcycle in a high speed chase, between 16th Street and Walgreens. A motorcycle, driven by 31-year-old William Fizer, traveled north on Limit from 16th Street, swerved around cars at a high rate of speed, with a passenger. Fizer stopped at Walgreens at Broadway and Limit and was arrested. Fizer faces four traffic violations, with total bond set at $885.

Several Thefts Reported

Sedalia Police received a report of a possible case of identity theft. A man received a collections letter from a company that he has never had business with. The victim claims that someone opened an account online with his identity and charged $1,901.89 in items.

A man in the 800 Block of McVey Road reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone broke the window out of his 2005 Ford Taurus and stole an Acer Laptop yesterday (June 17).

A woman in the 3600 Block of Flat Creek Drive reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Department that someone broke into her car and stole two Vera Bradley lunch boxes yesterday (June 17).

A woman in the 3600 Block of Flat Creek Drive reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Department that someone broke into her car and stole a purple Vera Bradley purse, a pink wallet and aviator sunglasses on June 17.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Samantha Kearney-Cripps for eleven counts of child abuse, bond set at $100,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Faustino Vasquez for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Dylan Seevers for failure to appear, bond set at $500 cash and another warrant, with bond set at $500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Gary Evans for domestic assault in the 3rd.

Sedalia Police arrested Richard Shull for a no bond parole violation warrant.

Sedalia Police arrested Cory Jones for driving while suspended.
