A man in the 400 Block of North Hurley reported to Pettis County Deputies that he was assaulted, and the other man said he was assaulted. Sedalia Police arrested Joshua Smith and Timothy Klein for assault, bond set at $531.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police received a report that sometime in the last few weeks that someone forced their way through a back door and stole some items in the 1000 Block of East 9th.

A man on Oak Grove Lane reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that a subject known to him stole some property between June 30 and August 9.

A woman in the 700 Block of East 24th reported to Sedalia Police that her purse was taken from her vehicle at her residence and someone used her debit card.

Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to James Road for a suspicious activity call last night(August 9). The Pettis County Deputies issued three summons for minor in possession of liquor to subjects that were in the area.

A 12-year old girl in the 1600 Block of West 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that he was bit on the leg by her friend's dog. The dog is quarantined at the Sedalia Animal Shelter.

Sedalia Police arrested Casey Greeway for a failure to appear charge for bad checks and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The city bond was set at $1,063 cash/surety and the state charge was set at $1,500 cash/surety.

Yesterday morning (August 9), Sedalia Police went to Wal-Mart as two subjects tried returning items that were stolen. Rebecca Bell and Curtis Jackson were arrested for stealing.
