Yesterday (July 28), the Sedalia Strike Team Investigation of Narcotics and Gangs (S.T.I.N.G) unit served a search warrant at 2205 Ohio Avenue. The warrant was for methamphetamine.  Methamphetamine, drug packaging materials, and paraphernalia were found in the home. 41-year old Michael Richeson and 49-year old Sheri Stevenson were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing a controlled substance within 2000 feet of a school, and possession with the intent to distribute.

Pettis County Deputies and Fire Departments from Green Ridge, Lincoln, and Windsor responded to the 36000 Block of Richardson Road for a large open unattended fire at 11:16 p.m. On July 27. The fire was estinquished and the investigation continues.

Last night (July 28), at 8:35 Sedalia Police went to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a reported dog bite. A 7-year old boy was bitten by their family dog. The boy sustained minor injuries from the bite and was treated.

Friday afternoon (July 27), Sedalia Police received a burglary report from the 400 Block of East 7th and the suspect returned to the home. Bryan Combs was found to be a fugitive from justice and had a probation violations warrant out of California.

Sedalia Police went to the 300 Block of South Ohio as a purple and white Pacific Voyager bicycle was found behind a dumpster.

Sedalia Police arrested Eric Srader for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $25,000 cash/surety and a driving while revoked charge.

Sedalia Police arrested Ashley Parrish for a Sedalia failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Timothy Davis for trespassing at Wood's Supermarket.
