Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports: Morning of August 9, 2012

A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that he was assaulted in the 200 Block of Main Street in Hughesville between 9 and 10:30 p.m. On August 8.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her identity was stolen when she lived in Sedalia between July of 2009 and April of 2010.

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole her identity.

A man shopping at Woods reported to Sedalia Police that his wallet was stolen. He placed the wallet on the seat portion of the cart and when he went to pay for his items, the wallet was no longer there.

Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at West Broadway and South Moniteau for improper registration. The van had a Missouri license plate attached that have not been used for about three years. Sedalia Police determined that the plates were forged.

A woman in the 1100 Block of West 3^rd reported to Sedalia Police that she was harassed via text.

Sedalia Police arrested Jordan Russell for stealing a pair of sunglasses from Wal-Mart, bond set at $531.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Julio Ramos-Sotelo for having a traffic offense and no valid license.
