The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Reports are from the morning of Monday, Feb.11, 2013.

Sedalia S.T.I.N.G Unit Serves a Search Warrant

The Sedalia Police Strike Team Investigations of Narcotics and Gangs (S.T.I.N.G. Unit) along with other officers served a search warrant on Friday morning (Feb. 8) in the 1300 Block of South Harrison Avenue. The S.T.I.N.G. Unit found marijuana and drug packaging materials in the home, where five children were also found. 21-year-old William L. Taylor and 23-year-old Dominique J. Taylor were arrested. William Taylor was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, manufacturing of a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school and child endangerment. Dominique Taylor was charged with possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment.

A Woman Reported She Was Chased By A Man With Knife

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was being chased on Saturday afternoon by a man with a knife in an alley between 3rd and 4th Street near the intersection of Prospect. The woman fled the suspect and lost him, and met up with Sedalia Police at 4th and Beacon.

 Counterfeit Money Still Appearing In Sedalia

There were several cases of counterfeit money showing up in Sedalia and Pettis County last week. Another case has been reported. Bing's East at 1703 East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone paid for some merchandise, totaling $4, with a fake $10 bill.

 Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 200 Block of West 6th reported to Sedalia Police that a Playstation 3 was stolen between 5 p.m. on Feb. 8 and 4 p.m. on Feb. 9.

Sedalia Police received a report that an H.P. Laptop computer in a black case was stolen from an office at Recovery Lighthouse, in the 400 Block of West Pettis, on Feb. 8.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into her storage unit in the 1700 Block of West Main, and several items were stolen on Dec. 30 or 31.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her debit card was stolen while at Dollar General on South Limit yesterday (Feb. 10).

Property Damage Reported

Bud's Laundromat at 301 South Engineer reported to Sedalia Police that a window was broken on the west side of the business on Feb. 8.

Several Arrested In Area

Sedalia Police arrested Justyn Barrett for having a Henry County warrant, bond set at $1,500 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Diereze Robinson for driving while suspended and possession of marijuana, bond set at $1,067.

Sedalia Police arrested Eric Monsees for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested John Pabon for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Stephen Whitehead for having a Dallas County warrant, bond set at $500 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Amber Bass for first degree burglary and stealing from Walmart.

Pettis County Deputies arrested 24-year-old Jared Monsees on charges of receiving stolen property.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Jacob Hull on an outstanding Sedalia Police Department warrant.

Sedalia Police arrested Jennifer Reyburn for driving while suspended.
