15-year-old Pettis County Girl is Missing

The Pettis County Sheriff's Department received a report that 15-year-old girl, Brittany Gollaher, had run away from home in 2800 Block of Monsees Drive. Gollaher is described as a 15-year-old girl, 5'5'', 125 pounds, light brown hair and blue eyes. Gollaher was last seen wearing a purple plaid shirt, blue jeans and brown boots that came about mid-calf. Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Gollaher is asked to call the Pettis County Sheriff's Office at (660) 827-0052.

Update: Pettis County Sheriff Kevin Bond reports that Brittany Gollaher has been located as she reported to school today (Nov. 12). The School Resource Officer is investigating the circumstances of Gollaher missing.

 

A Car is Set On Fire in Sedalia and Property Damage Is Reported

Friday morning (Nov. 9) at 6:09, Sedalia Police received a 911 call in reference to a fire behind 1615 East 4th. A car was fully engulfed in flames and caught some of the surrounding vegetation on fire. The Sedalia Fire Department put the fire out, but the vehicle was totally destroyed. The vehicle was valued at $2,000. The victim said a person had threatened to put a 'hit' on his car for an unpaid debt.

A man reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that the window on his truck had been shot while he was hunting near Providence Road on Nov. 11.

A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone damaged his vehicle while it was parked on his property in the 1200 Block of Elm Hills Boulevard on Saturday, Nov. 10.

A woman in the 900 Block of East 13th reported to Sedalia Police that she has been harassed.  A suspect threatened to throw deer organs and internals in her yard.

Theft Occurs at Kmart

Last night (Nov. 11), Kmart reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a Swiss Army knife, Middleman Jack Knife, Pall Knife and a Folder Hunter Knife, valued altogether at $126.76. A suspect has been identified and the investigation continues.

Sedalia Police took a report of a hit and run collision in the Kmart parking lot in the 1400 Block of South Limit between 1 and 1:30 p.m. November 10. The driver's side of the vehicle was damaged from the rear driver's side bumper up to and including the driver's side rear door.

Several Arrests Made Over the Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested Amy Wright for having a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $3,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Tramone Poindexter for an assault, bond set at $531.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Katelyn Bartlett for a failure to appear charge for trespassing, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Travis Riedl for a failure to appear charge for driving while suspended, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Travis Greene for having a Cooper County warrant, bond set at $10.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Robert David Puckett for an outstanding Sedalia Police Department warrant.
