Sedalia Police Break Up an Assault In Progress

Yesterday (Mar. 27), Sedalia Police received a 911 call and while in route to inspect a situation where there was a report that a knife was involved. When Sedalia Police arrived, they found two suspects yelling inside the apartment. Sedalia Police had to break into the apartment and break up the conflict. Justin Loggins was arrested for assault in the 2nd and Seth Loggins was arrested for assault in the 3rd.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman in the 600 Block of South Barrett reported to Sedalia Police that $723 in items were stolen on Tuesday (Mar. 26) between 11:45 a.m. and 2 p.m.

A woman in the 400 Block of North Prospect reported to Sedalia Police that someone had stolen her two BBQ grills from her home, valued at $150.

A man in the 400 Block of South Engineer reported to Sedalia Police that there was a burglary sometime since Mar. 24.

A victim in the 2400 Block of Stacey Lane reported to Sedalia Police that they received several harassing text messages.

Sedalia Police arrested Lisa Curry for a failure to appear warrant for not having a valid license, bond set at $100. Curry was also found to have a warrant for attempting to manufacture a controlled substance, bond set at $20,000 cash/surety.
