The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Report is from the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013.

Several Thefts Investigated

Sedalia Police responded to the 1200 Block of South Kentucky on a theft complaint. A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she had placed an 11-chain link fence in her backyard on Jan. 18. The woman noticed the posts were missing later that evening and she thought the persons hired to install the fencing moved the posts, but that was not the case.

A man in the 600 Block of East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that several items were missing from his home while he was gone over the weekend.

A man in the 100 Block of South Stewart reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a knife from him and pawned it.

McDonald's at 1611 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that a suspect walked behind the counter and stole empty coffee cups, filled them with soda and left the business around 2:45 a.m. Jan. 19.

A man in the 1800 Block of McVey Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that his mail box was damaged sometime on Jan. 21.

Two Suspects Arrested

Sedalia Police arrested Caleb Perry for having a Sedalia warrant, bond set at $88.50 cash. He was also charged with possession of marijuana, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Pettis County Deputies arrested John Warren after he was parked illegally in the Pettis County Sheriff's Office parking lot and found to have a small amount of marijuana in his car.
