The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Department reports are from the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012

Several Car Thefts and Thefts From Cars Reported to Law Enforcement

Sedalia Automotive at 2101 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that sometime between 6 p.m. on Dec. 20 and 8 a.m. on Dec. 21, someone stole a green 2000 Ford F250 along with keys off the lot. Sedalia Automotive also reported that someone took a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone attempted to steal his vehicle while it was parked in the 1000 Block of East 11th on Dec. 23.

A man in the 200 Block of West 6th reported to Sedalia Police that someone got into his car between 7 p.m. Dec. 24 and 6:54 a.m. Dec. 25, and took a registration and vehicle booklet out of a glove box and a burgandy tote.

A woman in the 400 Block of East Saline reported to Sedalia Police that somebody broke into her vehicle between 8 p.m. Dec. 23 and 9 a.m. Dec. 24.

Sedalia Police went to the 300 Block of North Dipp as a woman reported her wallet was stolen from her car on Dec. 24 and someone charged items on her debit card.

A woman in the 24000 Block of Flint Street reported to Pettis County Deputies that her tailgate was taken from her pickup truck on Dec. 24.

Several Thefts Investigated

Sedalia Police went to the 600 Block of North New York at 9:52 a.m. on Dec. 24 in reference to a burglary. Sometime between 8:30 and 10 p.m., someone stole a laptop computer valued at $800 from the home.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that there was a theft in the 22000 Block of Stacey Lane between Dec. 19 and 22. There is a known suspect in the case and Pettis County Deputies are investigating it further.

A man in the 700 Block of South Main Street in Lamonte reported to Pettis County Deputies that there was a burglary between 4 p.m. on Dec. 22 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 23. There are known suspects in the case and Pettis County Deputies are investigating further.

Several Arrests Made

Pettis County Deputies responded to the Soutwest Storage Facility on Highway B on a property damage report. Someone entered a unit and damaged some items. In the process of the investigation, the reporting person, Wayne Coslet, was found to have an active warrant for his failure to appear charge and was arrested.

Pettis County Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Temp Stop truck stop at 4547 South Limit Avenue on Dec. 19. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered Lawrence Adams Cooper of Warsaw had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear out of Clinton, Mo. Cooper was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail on the warrant.

Sedalia Police arrested Cody Quick for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 and property damage, bond set at $531.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Harold Hunsaker for operating a motor vehicle without license plates and being in possession of meth.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Brittany Perkins for having an active failure to appear warrant out of Sedalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Mrazek for driving while revoked.
