Sedalia Police Respond to Shots Fired

Last night (May 14), Sedalia Police received a report of two gunshots from the area of 11th and South Vermont near Vermont Park. Sedalia Police located the suspect and arrested Robin Hutchens for unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was assaulted in the 1200 Block of East 3rd on Monday (May 13).

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 2900 Block of West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that some air conditioning units were stolen between 8 a.m. on May 13 and 9 p.m.on May 14.

A man in the 1700 Block of South Moniteau reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke windows at his home and stole a $200 television.

A woman in the 400 Block of East 16th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole some property from her.

A man in the 1500 Block of South Moniteau reported to Sedalia Police that several items were stolen from his home between 7:30 a.m.and 12:44 p.m.on May 14.

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 6500 Block of East Boonville Road in reference to a burglary that occurred between April 1 and May 13.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Daniel Schnieder for driving while revoked, possession of marijuana and having an open container, bond set at $1,201 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Amanda Oyler for failure to appear out of Johnson County, bond set at $500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Tonya Linville for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash only.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Dustin Earl Baily for violations of an ex-parte order of protection and was also found to have a warrant.
