Sedalia Police conducted searches of two locations in connection with a stolen iPad that was reported to officers on Sunday.

According to a Sedalia Police report, a man told authorities that someone had gotten into his unlocked 2015 Chevy Silverado sometime between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 5:30 a.m. on Sunday. The victim reported that an iPad and fifteen packages of cigars were missing.

A signal from the iPad was detected in the 1300 block of East Boonville, and a trailer at that location was searched, but the iPad was not recovered. Another signal was detected in the 200 block of West 6th Street and a house was searched at that location, but that search was also unsuccessful.
