Traffic stop this morning nets a suspended driver
At 4:32 this morning, Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at Broadway and Montgomery with a driver known to be suspended. Following confirmation, 35-year-old Candy Villarreal of Sedalia was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending $533.50.
Sedalia man arrested on a failure to appear warrant
Around midnight on Thursday, Sedalia police conducted a warrant check in the 100 block of Welch Court. The suspect, 45-year-old Maiicicio Hernandez of Sedalia, was located and arrested on a Saline County warrant. At the time of the police report, Hernandez was in the Pettis County jail pending charges.
Juveniles steal cowboy boots from Gene’s Boots Thursday night
Just after 8 p.m. Thursday night, a complainant with Gene’s Boots at 3145 West Broadway reported a theft from the store. The complainant said a group of juveniles came into the store and shoplifted a pair of $200 cowboy boots.
