Sedalia Police reports 4-13-18

On Sunday, Sedalia Police investigated an attempted break-in at the Masonic Lodge, 601 W. Broadway. A glass door was damaged. An investigation was initiated, and on Thursday around 1 p.m. officers arrested 44-year-old Brian L. Graf. He was charged with 2nd Degree Property Damage and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Friday at 3:37 a.m., Sedalia Police arrested 30-year-old Christina M. Carlock of Sedalia. She was a passenger in a car stop that occurred at 7th and Kentucky. She was wanted on a Municipal warrant for driving without a valid license. Carlock was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $500 cash bond, with a May 16 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 17-year-old Zachary Tyler Allison of Sedalia at 3201 W. Broadway just before 11 p.m. Thursday. Allison was wanted on a probation violation. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $2,500 cash or surety bond. His court date is to be announced.


 

Shortly after 5 a.m. Thursday, Pettis County deputies, along with Sedalia Police and Missouri State Highway Patrol, responded to 4200 W. Main on a man holding a crossbow to his body, threatening to kill himself. In addition, he reportedly would not allow his family to leave the residence. Contact by police and deputies was made, and he eventually allowed his family to leave the residence. A short time later, he surrendered to law enforcement authorities and was transported by deputies to Bothwell Regional Health Center for evaluation and to the Pettis County Jail. The man was not identified by police or the sheriff's office.


 

Sedalia Police responded to 18th and Barrett on a large physical disturbance with weapons just before 5 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, all parties were gone upon arrival. The report added that there was a similar disturbance the day before. Several people later contacted the SPD to report being assaulted, or having property damage as a result of the disturbance. The Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) has been informed of the situation.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 38-year-old Glen M. Naylor of Sedalia in the 200 block of S. Engineer on Thursday morning. Naylor was wanted on three warrants – Pettis County, Saline County and Probation and Parole. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail. There was no bond on the probation and parole violation. There was a $250 cash bond on the Pettis County warrant and a $10,000 cash or surety bond on the Saline County warrant.


 

On Wednesday afternoon, a man reported an assault that occurred at 1611 S. Limit. He also said there was damage to his vehicle in excess of $1,000, and he also had personal property stolen in excess of $600. According to the report, suspects have been identified and the victim is willing to prosecute. An investigation is pending.


 

On Thursday, a man reported the theft of his wheelchair from the 1200 block S. Lamine. The wheelchair was valued at $100. There are no suspects.
