Sedalia Police reports 8-22-16

Sedalia Police took a theft report of four cars stolen from the W-K Chevrolet lot, 3310 W. Broadway, on Sunday. In addition, two license plates were taken from vehicles at the nearby State Fair Hotel, the report said. All four vehicles were later recovered (unoccupied) in Kansas City. The vehicles were being processed before being released to their owners, the report noted.

Rickey Lee Adair, 38, Ionia, was arrested for DWI-Prior Offender after Sedalia Police responded to a car that had run into the ditch at 1:17 a.m. Saturday. The driver was found to be intoxicated and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

A man reported he was assaulted and robbed while walking in the 100 block of W. Main Sunday at 1:53 a.m.

Timothy Linell Peck, 26, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Appear Upon Arrest or Summons at 3:39 a.m. Saturday after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of Osage. Peck was wanted on a Municipal warrant for a traffic offense. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $150 bond and a court date of Oct. 19.

Juan M. Ubaldo, 25, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated at 1:43 a.m. Saturday after Sedalia Police responded to a car crash in the 1800 block of W. 3rd. He was booked and released pending the filing of state charges.

Martavious Keyshawn Thomas, 25, Sedalia, was arrested for 2nd degree Domestic Assault and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in Katy Park at 12:26 a.m. Sunday, where a couple was reportedly fighting with each other. Thomas fled the scene before officers arrived, but was later tased and apprehended by Pettis County deputies. Thomas was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Shamikka M. Rice, 25, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle with the Department of Revenue on Saturday at 32nd and Kentucky. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released.

Police took a report of a stolen pistol with three magazines taken from the 1900 block of W. 10th over the weekend. There are no suspects.

Police took a report of 19 rounds of .38 S&W ammunition found near Main and Washington on Sunday.

Police took a theft report of keys, a wallet, a camera and tools, collectively valued at $426, in the 300 block of E. Boonville on Saturday afternoon.

Police took a report of a women's wallet which was found buried in the mud while the reporting party was weed eating near 18th and Sneed Sunday afternoon. The wallet was later returned to the victim's boyfriend.

Police took a report of a found 24-inch men's Next Bike located in a front yard Saturday afternoon.
