SPD reports 12-23-16

Sedalia Police arrested Gabrial L. Terry, 29, of Sedalia, on a felony Pettis County warrant Thursday afternoon. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $150,000 cash or surety bond.

Thomas D. Averbeck reported the theft of tools and a laptop from his home in the 1500 block of S. Harrison on Thursday. The items were valued at $525. There is one suspect in the case.

Austin Tyler Hanuska, 20, Pettis County, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and Driving the Wrong Way on a One-way street after a traffic stop at 2nd and Missouri on Wednesday night. Hanuska was taken to the Pettis County Jail. He now has a court date of Jan. 18.

Michelle M. Bryant, 22, Clinton, was arrested on a Henry County warrant (misdemeanor Failure to Appear) after a traffic stop at 32nd and Limit on Wednesday night just before 11 pm. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $225 bond. Her court date was to be determined.

Michael Leamon McDonald, 44, Sedalia, was arrested on a Boone County probation violation for failure to register as a sex offender on Wednesday night. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $10,000 bond. He has a court date of Dec. 27.

Helen M. Semonde, 19, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant at Boonville and heard on Thursday morning and taken to the Pettis County Jail.

Timothy Lee Davis, 40, homeless, was arrested for 1st degree trespassing on Thursday morning. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Pettis County deputies arrested John Glen Fizer of Sedalia for an outstanding Sedalia Police Department warrant on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Pettis County deputies investigated a property damage complaint at 30650 Ball Road. The victim said the back glass on his Chevy truck was broken out. The value of the damage was not determined. Investigation is ongoing.
