Sedalia Police reports 12-18-19

Sedalia Police arrested 58-year-old Mark Wayne Pate of Sedalia at 3203 South Limit on Monday morning. He was wanted on two felony Pettis County warrants with a total bond amount of $55,000. He was also wanted for a probation and parole violation with no bond.


 

O'Reilly Auto Parts, 3202 South Limit, reported that illegal drugs were found inside the store on Monday evening. The drugs were seized by police for destruction.


 

Sedalia Police took a burglary report in the 1500 block of South Prospect on Monday evening. Taken were hand tools, clothing and cash totaling $1,215. The theft occurred between 6 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. Dec. 16.


 

On Tuesday at 3:15 a.m., Sedalia Police arrested 51-year-old Wayne R. Ermey of Clinton after conducting a warrant check at the SPD, 300 W. 3rd. He was wanted on a Municipal warrant for a traffic offense. Ermey was taken to the Pettis County Jail with an $86.50 cash bond. He now has a Dec. 18 court date.


 

On Monday evening around 7:45 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to WalMart, 3201 W. Broadway, on a disturbance. During the investigation, an employee stated he found a necklace still in the box from Kohl's. Police took the necklace and placed it into evidence.
