Sedalia Police reports 2-16-18
Callie M. Hall, 18, Holden, was arrested by Sedalia Police for DWI at 1:10 a.m. Friday at Broadway and Engineer. Hall was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a March 14 court date.
On Thursday afternoon, a resident in the 2400 block of Golf Drive reported finding a knife near her home. According to a report, the knife could possibly belong to a prowler seen at Skyline Elementary School the day before (Wednesday). The knife, described as a Yoshi Blade kitchen knife, was placed into evidence by police.
On Thursday afternoon, WalMart reported the theft of $49.97 of items from the store by a female known to asset protection. She allegedly left without paying. The suspect has not yet been located.
On Thursday evening, Sedalia Police took a hit-and-run report that occurred at Broadway and Curry Drive. According to the report, the caller approached the intersection in his car shortly after 4 p.m. and noticed a car was stopped at a green light. The caller attempted to stop, but struck the vehicle. The vehicle then left the area without proving any information.
On Thursday night, Sedalia Police took a theft report of a cell hone from inside a business at 715 E. Broadway. According to the report, the victim named a suspect, but they have not yet been located.
On Thursday night, a resident in the 3100 block of Wing Avenue reported the theft of a vehicle that occurred around 8:50 p.m. According to a report, keys to the vehicle were taken from the kitchen counter by a visitor. The suspect left shortly before the victim noticed his car was missing.
On Wednesday, Sedalia Police took a burglary report in the 300 block of E. 17th. The total amount of items taken in the incident was $11,081. The burglary happened between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. Wednesday, it was noted.
Sedalia Police arrested two people at 7:22 a.m. Wednesday at 4th and Beacon after officers were called to the area on a report of an assault. Taken into custody were 20-year-old Barry J. Monteer, Jr., and 18-year-old Tatiana L. Monroy, both of Pettis County. Monteer was charged with 3rd Degree Assault and Monroy was charged with 4th Degree Assault.
