Sedalia Police reports 7-15-19

On Thursday, Sedalia Police arrested 48-year-old Jimmy D. Bowers in the 600 block of West Pettis after a traffic stop for expired plates. Bowers was found to be driving without a license. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

On Thursday, Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance at 6th and Summit around 10:20 p.m. One of the subjects, 19-year-old Lillian R. Matthews, was charged with 3rd degree assault. She was also found to be in possession of marijuana. Matthews was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Thursday, Sedalia Police took a theft report from someone in the 700 block of E. 10th, who said a safe containing $9500 of jewelry and other items was taken from his residence while he was away.


 

On Thursday at 12:47 a.m., Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for speeding at Main and Industrial. The driver, 24-year-old Gabriel Sebastian Felipe, was found to be driving without a valid license. Felipe was was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

On July 10, Mark Lappat reported that his 1998 Subaru was stolen from his son's residence in the 500 block of W. 11th.


 

On July 7, Sedalia Police arrested 21-year-old Anastasia Irene Mann after conducting a traffic stop at 200 Winchester on a Ford Taurus for expired plates. A computer check revealed Mann was wanted on a Pettis County warrant for a probation violation. A consent to search yielded a controlled substance. Mann was also found to be driving without a valid license. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $2500 cash or surety bond. She was booked and released, according to a report.


 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 37-year-old Bryan W. Coleman of Warrensburg at 11 p.m. Sunday in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated. Coleman was taken to the Warrensburg Police Department, where he was booked and released.
