Sedalia Police reports 6-12-199

Sedalia Police arrested 20-year-old Jacob R. Gibbs of Sedalia during a traffic stop at Main and Park at 12:51 a.m. June 9. Gibbs was an occupant of the vehicle. He was wanted on a Benton County warrant. Gibbs was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $600 cash or surety bond. He now has a July 8 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 23-year-old Ylenia Nohely Guale Castro if Sedalia at 1700 E. Broadway at 4:30 a.m. June 9. Castro was charged with DWI and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 45-year-old Brian M. Welch at the Sedalia 66 gas station, 120 E. 16th, at 10:15 p.m. June 10. Welch was wanted on a Pettis County warrant. Welch was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,500 cash or surety bond. He now has a June 25 court date.


 

Sedalia Police responded to 802 Ruth Ann Drive after a security guard observed a female sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle with the engine running at 2:18 a.m. June 10. It was determined that she was too intoxicated to care for herself. Nichole T. Vallery, 30, of Sedalia was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, then to the Pettis County Jail for a 12hour-hold. Her car was towed.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 36-year-old Deandrew James Capelton of Sedalia after conducting a warrant check in the 800 block of E. 10th around 1 a.m. June 8. Capelton was wanted on a Platte County warrant for probation violation. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $500 cash bond.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1600 block of South Montgomery around 6:40 p.m. June 8. Joshua Nolly Delecruz, 36, of Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant for 4th degree assault. Delecruz was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,500 cash or surety bond.


 

On June 8, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with improper registration at Boonville and Clarke around 7:30 p.m. 48-year-old Lisa M. Decker was a passenger in the vehicle and was wanted on a Howard County warrant for passing a fraudulent check. Decker was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,000 bond.


 

On June 9, a man reported someone stole a motorcycle from his truck while parked in a business lot at 4104 West Main June 9.


 

Sedalia Police took an assault report from a victim at 3:52 a.m. June 8 in the 200 block of South Missouri. According to a report, the suspect assaulted the victim and stole his car key. No arrests were made at the time of the report.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no working license plate lights at 1:37 a.m. June 10 at 120 E. 16th. During the stop, drug paraphernalia was discovered and later destroyed. A computer check of the driver, 28-year-old Garrett C. Green, revealed he was driving while suspended. Green was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police took a theft report in the 1300 block of East 24th at 5:02 a.m. June 9. One of the subjects, 42-year-old Monnie May Omega Parsons, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Parsons was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 20-year-old James J. Baker at 12th and Arlington Saturday evening around 6:45 p.m. Baker was found to be driving while suspended. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.
