Sedalia Police crime reports 6-5-18
Sedalia Police were called to Woods East, 701 E. Broadway, on Monday after a man who was issued a trespass warning for the store on June 2 returned. 53-year-old Mark Anthony Purinton was arrested and charged with 1st Degree Trespassing, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Purinton was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
Sedalia Police arrested 41-year-old Keith D. Hawkins of Sedalia on Monday after he admitted striking a victim at a party on May 6, causing the victim serious physical injury. Hawkins was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold for 1st Degree Assault.
On Monday, Sedalia Police took a report from a man who reported that his trailer, valued at $1,050, was stolen sometime between Feb. 1 and June 4 from the 3800 block of S. Limit.
Rest Haven, 1800 S. Ingram, reported a broken window caused by a thrown rock on Monday morning. The rock caused $1,000 of damage to replace the window, the report said. The incident occurred sometime after 3 p.m. Sunday. There are no suspects.
On Monday (June 4), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested 28-year old Lance T. Jones, of Sedalia, for an outstanding Webster County warrant for Probation Violation.
