Sedalia Police reports 5-17-19

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 22-year-old Stacey R. Billings of Green Ridge at 1:38 a.m. Friday in Greene County. She was charged with DWI and speeding, and taken to the Greene County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 9th and Barrett at 11:52 p.m. Monday after observing the vehicle drive westbound in the turn lane on Broadway from Carr to Barrett, then turn south on Barrett. The vehicle was stopped for no plate light. The westbound vehicle stopped in the oncoming eastbound lane, the report said. Jay A. Summers of Sedalia was arrested for DWI and was also found to be driving while suspended. Summers was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 36-year-old Christina Marie Clark of Sedalia for felony 3rd degree domestic assault after responding to the 600 block of W. 7th at 4:06 a.m. Tuesday. According to a report, there was a female who was drug into the house by her hair.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1700 block of S. Lamine on May 9 on a report of a five-year-old who accidentally took some of the mother's medications without adult approval.


 

A Cole Camp man, 30-year-old Adam C.E. Shephard came into the SPD to pick up his wallet on Monday morning. Police conducted a computer check on Shephard and discovered he was wanted on two warrants, one of which was extraditable. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a vehicle check in the 200 block of E. 19th at 1:43 a.m. Monday, as the owner was wanted on a Pettis County warrant. But the driver fled the area at a high rate of speed, causing an accident in the 500 block of Washington. The driver was not located, but state charges are being sought.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 59-year-old Ronald Dean Ballenger of Sedalia in the 1500 block of Warren May 10 on a Lafayette County warrant for a traffic offense. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $128 bond.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 10th and Hancock Sunday evening and found that oene of the passengers, 23-year-old Robert Joseph Sanchez of Sedalia, was in possession of drug paraphernalia. A Municipal summons was issued to Sanchez and he was released. He now has a June 12 court date.


 

Sedalia Police took a report from a man in the 1100 block of E. 6th, who said on May 11 that a suspect threatened his life. The suspect has not been located.


 

Sedalia Police investigated a vehicle accident at 7th and Quincy on May 11 and discovered that 33-year-old Guillermo Yanez-Garcia was operating a motor vehicle without a license. He was also found to be DWI after he struck a parked vehicle. There were no injuries. Yanez-Garcia was taken to the SPD, and a search warrant was obtained to determine his blood alcohol. He was then taken to Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a vehicle check at 14th and Harrison on Monday at 12:39 a.m. 22-year-old Jose Luis Romero, Jr., was found to be driving without a license. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $60 cash bond. He now has a June 12 court date.


 

37-year-old Clin J. Medlin of Sedalia, was arrested by Sedalia Police for driving while revoked after a traffic stop Monday just before 7 p.m. Medlin was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and Sunset on a vehicle traveling east on Broadway with no plates around 9 p.m. Monday night. 50-year-old William C. Mulcrone of Sedalia was found to be driving while suspended. He also failed to register with the DOR.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop around 11:30 p.m. Monday night on a vehicle with no front plate at North Limit and Eagleview Drive. A computer check revealed 25-year-old Skylynna Shy Ann Govea was wanted on a Municipal warrant. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $60 bond with a June 19 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 28-year-old Brandon L. Kelch of Sedalia on a Municipal warrant at 3rd and Park at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash bond.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 6th and Engineer shortly after 8:30 Monday night for a license violation. The driver, 38-year-old Trena W. McDonald, was found to be in possession of Hydrocone, and was also driving while revoked. She also failed to register with the DOR. McDonald was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police took a hit-and-run report on Monday morning from a man who said that his 1999 maroon Ford F-150 was backed into by another vehicle. The driver then left the scene in the 500 block of W. 16th.


 

Sedalia Police took a report from National TV and Rental, 1400 S. Limit, on May 7. According to the report, a renter is refusing to provide payment for a children's power toy and won't return it. Charges are being sought against the suspect.
