Sedalia Police reports 5-29-19

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check on a subject on May 20 at American Inn, 1217 S. Limit. A computer check revealed that 42-year-old Christina Ward was wanted on two FTA warrants out of Pettis County. Bond for one was $349.50 (DWI) and the other was $1,500 cash or surety (Driving While Suspended). Ward was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 1200 block of S. Ohio on a heroin overdose on April 27 around 5:20 p.m. According to a report, the subject was in the process of taking NARCAN upon arrival. The family said they would take him to Bothwell for further medical treatment.


 

On May 20, a man reported $500 of damage was done to his tow truck parked on a lot in the 800 block of W. 2nd.


 

Faukner Enterprises, 305 W. Main, reported on May 20 that one of its trucks had a broken window, and a wheel on a company trailer was flattened.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for improper registration at Broadway and Lamine around 8:20 p.m. May 21. Mary Copper, 40, of Sedalia, was found to be driving while revoked. She now has a July 3 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 57-year-old Angela K. Barber-Cox for shoplifting $44.64 of merchandise at WalMart, 3201 W. Broadway, on May 24. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 34-year-old Roger W. Lindsey, Jr., in the 500 block of E. 14th on May 26. Lindsey was wanted on a Pettis County warrant with a $500 cash bond. He now has a June 25 court date.


 

On May 26, a man reported the theft of a grill, weed whacker, chainsaw and lawn mower from his residence in the 200 block of West Henry while he was out of town for two weeks.


 

On May 25, Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1100 block of E. 15th. Arrested was 43-year-old Aullnie Edward Colvin. He was wanted on a misdemeanor FTA warrant out of Pettis County. Colvin was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a $250 cash bond. He now has a June 4 court date.
