Sedalia Police responded to a report of gunshots in the 400 block of East Harvey on Thursday at 6:49 p.m. Investigation revealed there were two males in the roadway, and one shot the other in the stomach. There were no other details listed in the report, other than the investigation is ongoing.


 

On Wednesday, Sedalia Police arrested 25-year-old Kislyy I. Irina of Sedalia after conducting a traffic stop at 16th and Grand, Irina was wanted on a Municipal FTA warrant. She was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 bond, and a Nov. 27 court date.


 

Sedalia Police responded to 900 Westwood on a disturbance around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. Investigation revealed that the suspect, 21-year-old Emmanuel Andre Ward, allegedly struck the victim on the head, then choked her. Ward was found hiding at a nearby address. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold. Charges are being submitted to the prosecutor.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 12:04 a.m. Thursday on a white Chevy car for no license plate lights. The driver, 40-year-old Michael Robert Barr of Stover, was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was issued a Municipal summons and released from the scene with a Nov. 27 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1000 block of E. 9th at 8:46 p.m. Wednesday. 26-year-old Ashlyn Cheyenne Schulze was wanted on three Municipal warrants with a $180 total bond. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a Nov. 27 court date.


 

On Wednesday, Sedalia Police arrested 44-year-old Christopher Lee Ford of Knob Noster on Municipal warrant with a $60 bond. Ford was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a Nov. 27 court date.
