Sedalia Police reports 9-13-19

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy with expired plates at Cooper and Prospect around 10 p.m. Wednesday night. The driver, 29-year-old Christian Nicole Conner of Pettis County, was found to be intoxicated and was taken to the Pettis County Jail to be fingerprinted, then booked for DWI and released. Conner now has a Nov. 16 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1300 block of South Ohio Wednesday morning and discovered that 24-year-old Maurice J. Byrd, Jr., was wanted on a Pettis County warrant on an original charge of felony driving while revoked. Byrd was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $3,500 cash or surety bond.


 

Sedalia Police took a report involving a male sending inappropriate photos to a 15-year-old female via cell home on Wednesday night in the area of Cooper and Osage.


 

Robert D. Puckett, 28, of Sedalia was arrested on a parole violation on Wednesday afternoon in the 800 block of E. 7th. Puckett was also wanted on a Pettis County FTA misdemeanor warrant. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police stopped a man riding a bicycle with no lights at 7th and Porter at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday. A computer check revealed that Jerry W. Mullins was wanted on a parole warrant with no bond. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at Main and Ohio at 12:03 a.m. Friday. A computer check revealed that Don. C. Sariano Palmerin, Jr., of Pettis County, was wanted on a Municipal warrant on an original charge of possession of marijuana. His bond was $100 and he now has an Oct. 2 court date.


 

On Aug. 30, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a black truck speeding through Broadway and Grand just after 10 p.m. The officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver, 26-year-old Austin Glen Holland of Otterville, was taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and no proof of insurance. Holland was booked and released from the Pettis County Jail.
