Sedalia Police crime reports 9-29-17

Sedalia Police arrested Samuel Aaron Bartlett, 33, Sedalia, after an injury accident that occurred at Broadway and Ohio Thursday just before 8 a.m. According to the police report, Bartlett was the driver of a vehicle that allegedly ran a red light, causing a motor vehicle collision. Bartlett was charged with Failure to Obey a Traffic Signal, Careless Driving, No Proof of Insurance, 2nd Degree Endangering the Welfare of Child, Failure to Use a Child Passenger Restraint System (for unrestricted minor children in the car), and Driving While Revoked. Bartlett was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.


 

Sedalia Police arrested Joseph Russell Enloe, 57, La Monte, on a warrant at the SPD on Wednesday and transported to the Petis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police arrested Wraymond J. Merriott, Jr., 48, Sedalia, on a Pettis County warrant for stealing at 3:07 a.m. Thursday at 3117 W. Broadway. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $1,500 cash or surety bond. His court date is TBA.


 

Sedalia Police arrested Christy L. Monteer, 39, Pettis County, after officers conducted a traffic stop for improper registration at 20th and Ingram Wednesday night. She was wanted on a possible probation violation and also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $2,500 cash or surety bond. She was booked and released on the paraphernalia charge.


 

Sedalia Police arrested Elyse N. Luengas, 29, Sedalia, after a traffic stop for a headlight out on her vehicle. She was wanted on a Municipal warrant for expired vehicle registration. Luengas was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 bond.
