Sedalia Police crime reports 8-8-17

Early Tuesday morning, Pettis County deputies were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle within the Sedalia city limits shortly after 12:30 a.m. Sedalia Police were assisting deputies with the chase, which ended near 15th and New York around 12:50 a.m. The suspects ditched the vehicle and ran from officers. The suspects were still at large at the time of the report. The vehicle was towed to a holding facility and evidence was collected.

Jonathan Wayne Ayers, 30, Sedalia, was arrested at 4th and Osage and charged with Driving While Revoked and Failure to Register with the DOR after a traffic stop around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Carlos Vincent Newbill reported a burglary at his residence in the 400 block of E. 7th on Monday morning. Taken were multiple items valued at $2,956. There are no suspects.
