Sedalia Police reports 10-10-17

Sedalia Police arrested Kenneisha M. Sipple, 24, Sedalia, Thursday afternoon for Driving While Revoked (Kansas) after a traffic stop on a silver car that matched the description of one recently reported stolen. Before approaching the car, Officer Peters learned from dispatch that the car he stopped was not stolen. He then approached the driver to tell her she was free to go. While informing her, she said she was suspended. A computer check later confirmed that. Sipple was taken to the Sedalia Police Department for fingerprinting and then released with a Nov. 8 court date.


 

Robert Leroy Lynch, 43, Sedalia, was arrested on a Lafayette County warrant (seat belt violation) on Monday evening at 32nd and Skyline after a traffic stop for a registration violation. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $10 bond.


 

Darell Lee Crain, 31, Sedalia, was issued a summons for destruction of property after Sedalia Police responded to Centennial Park on a disturbance call on Monday at 9:10 p.m. According to a report, Crain allgedly punched Anna Harlow's windshield, breaking it, and causing $170 of damage. Crain now has a court date of Nov. 1.


 

On Monday, Sonic, 2800 S. Limit, reported a hit-and-run accident that occurred on their lot. According to a report, someone struck one of their vendor trucks before backing into the outside menu board, then left the area. The driver was later located and identified. No criminal charges are being pursued, the report said.
