Sedalia Police crime reports 9-20-17

On Monday, Tammy S. Young, Sedalia, reported that her debit card was fraudulently used three times at three locations in the Kansas City area. The total charges amounted to $908.


 
On Monday, Equity Bank, 920 Thompson, reported a counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was placed into evidence.


 

On Monday, Family Pawn, 2805 W. Broadway, reported a possible stolen firearm. A check of the serial number confirmed the firearm was stolen out of Livingston County. The gun was then placed into evidence.


 

On Tuesday, Kenna N. Teiberis of Sedalia reported that someone slashed tires on her vehicle while parked overnight in the 1000 block of Harrison

On Tuesday, James Turner of Sedalia reported the theft of a large palm tree form outside his residence in the 60 block of E. 10th.


 

On Tuesday night, Shelley L. Garrison of Sedalia reported she found a bike leaning against her shed in the 700 block of New York. The bike was placed into found property.


 

On Tuesday, Kimberly D. Mahalovich reported a hit-and-run that most likely occurred Sunday, Sept. 17. There was damage to the driver's door, resulting in $1,000 of repair cost.
