Sedalia Police crime reports 9-13-17

Sedalia Police arrested Mark Konstantinov Tolmechev, 19, Sedalia, on Tuesday at 2nd and Massachusetts after a traffic stop for improper vehicle registration. He was charged with DWI, minor in possession of alcohol and open container. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released. He now has an Oct. 18 Municipal court date.


 

Valarie N. Peterman, 33, homeless, was arrested by Sedalia Police on Monday at 10:40 p.m. at Woods Supermarket, 701 E. Broadway. An officer was at Woods on a follow-up when he noticed the supect in the store. He made contact with her after she exited the business and arrested her. She was wanted on two Petis County warrants (stealing) She was taken to the Pettis County Jail. Her bond amounts were $2500 and $5,000, cash or surety.


 

On Monday, Boost Mobile, 1400 S. Limit (State Fair Shopping Center), reported recent thefts at the store. Missing was a bank deposit bag containing $955.92, a total of $525.74 missing from the cash register and a total of 29 phones missing from the inventory, according to the store manager. There is a suspect in the case.


 

On Tuesday, Terry L. Arnold reported the theft of 17 vehicles from a car lot. There is one suspect in the case.


 

On Tuesday, Renea Elizabeth Boone reported the theft of her son's red, 26-inch Schwinn bicycle from her front porch in the 400 block of E. 7th. There are no suspects.
