On Saturday (June 17), Sedalia Police took a report of an assault that had occurred earlier that afternoon. The victim stated while he was driving, a person in another vehicle was following him closely and driving recklessly around the victim. The report indicates that when the victim and suspect got to Broadway and Engineer Ave, the driver of the other car pulled-up to the passenger side of the victim's vehicle, pointed a small hand gun at him, and threatened to shoot him. The victim then fled the scene but the suspect followed, until they reached Cork n' Bottle at the east city limits. The victim drove away and went directly to the police station to report the incident. According to the report, the suspect has been identified but not located at this time. No names were released.


Around 10:20 Friday morning (June 16), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 200 block of South Moniteau Ave, for a follow-up to a burglary. Officers made contact with the suspect and she turned out to have an active Pettis County warrant. The suspect, 55-year old Sherry Lynn Liebig, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $5,000 bond.


Around 11:00 Friday night (June 16), Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a driver, for excessive acceleration, near the intersection of South Limit and West 4th Street. A computer check revealed the driver, 23-year old Boris Brenich, had a Sedalia FTA warrant (original charge of failing to obey a red light). Brenich was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $93.50.


Around 11:30 Sunday night (June 18), Sedalia Police responded to the 400 block of North Grand Ave, in reference to a disturbance. The suspect had allegedly entered the residence and punched the victim 4 times. According to the report, the suspect has not been located at this time. No names were released in the report.


Ethan Lane Stout, 19, Sedalia, was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and improper lane usage after a traffic stop at 1513 S. Limit on Friday night. The officer discovered that the driver had consumed alcohol and also a minor in possession of alcohol. Stout was taken to the Pettis County Jail. He now has an Aug. 2 court  date.


Anna K. Harlow, 26, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant (for stealing) after a traffic stop at 3rd and Osage at 8:21 p.m. June 15. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 bond.


Randy Gene Phillips, 53, Summerville, SC, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after Sedalia Police responded to the 1600 block of S. Barrett on a trespassing complaint Friday. According to the report, the victim's ex-husband showed up at her residence, ringing her doorbell. After the arrest, his vehicle was towed from the driveway.  He was being held at the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


Shay Alexander Cunningham, 25, Pettis County, was arrested on a probation violation at the Probation and Parole office, 205 Thompson Road, on Monday afternoon. Cunningham was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $4,500 bond ($2,000 of that was cash) and also on a $2,500 bond, cash or surety.


Jade N. Turner, 24, Sedalia, was arrested on a Howard County warrant ($300 cash), and also on a Boonville Police warrant ($68) at 2401 W. Broadway around 3:13 p.m. June 14. Turner was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


Daniel Wesley Bremer, 27, Sedalia, was arrested for 2nd Degree Domestic assault after police responded to a physical disturbance in the 200 block of S. Osage around 9:24 p.m. June 15. Bremer was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


Bobby D. Privitt, 56, Sedalia, was arrested on a Cooper County warrant after Sedalia Police investigated a four-vehicle, two-injury crash that occurred at South Limit and Heck Avenue around 2:20 p.m. June 14. According to the report, Privitt was one of the drivers involved. He claimed his brakes failed and was unable to stop at the stop sign when he approached Limit westbound on Heck and collided with a northbound vehicle. The wreck caused the northbound vehicle to plow into two parked cars on the lot. Privitt was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 cash bond.


Jeffrey Lindenmeyer reported to police that approximately $610 of electronics were stolen from his residence sometime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 15. in the 200 block of S. Moniteau.


Mary A. Flores, Sedalia, reported that her purse was stolen from the front porch of a property she owns and was cleaning at the time at 1203 S. Lamine on Monday afternoon. According to the report, she placed the purse in the porch, then took trash to the backyard, and the purse was gone when she returned 10 minutes later. The purse contained a checkbook, a credit card and her Missouri driver's license. There are no suspects.


On Monday, police took a report at 27882 U Highway on a stolen Stihl chainsaw that was taken from the office sometime between 5:30 p.m. on June 17 and the morning of June 18.


On Monday (June 19), Vladimir Surguy reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's department, that his milking goat was missing. No other details were listed in the report.
