Early Wednesday morning (June 28), Sedalia Police responded to the 900 block of South Ohio Ave, in reference to a 911 call. The caller stated that someone was in his house and he believed the person was still inside. Police determined that no one was in the house, however a computer check of the caller, 48-year old Dale W. Kabler, revealed he had an active Pettis County warrant for a felony weapons offence. Kabler was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $10,000 bond.


Just after 9:00 Tuesday night (June 27), Sedalia Police made contact with a suspect near the intersection of West 3rd St. and S. Grand Ave, in regards to a Pettis County warrant. The report says that the warrant had an original charge of Obstructing the Police. The suspect, 54-year old Alvin Odell Brown Jr, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $1,500 bond.


Around 4:40 Wednesday morning (June 28), Sedalia Police were dispatched the 400 block of West 4th Street, in regards to a burglary. The victim stated that someone had entered her residence and took a Playstation 4 and controller. Also taken, were four PS4 games and a 32-inch flat screen television. There was no further information listed in that report.


Around 8:15 Tuesday night (June 27), Sedalia Police took a theft report in the 100 block of Dundee Ave. The victim reported that someone had forced entry into a car through the driver's side door, and stole a cell phone. The phone is valued at $150. There was no further information in that report.
