Around 7:00 Friday morning (Nov 11), Sedalia Police officers were called to the 400 block of South Kentucky Avenue for a subject check. The male subject was identified as 20-year old Austin Robert Blankenship. He had two warrants from Pettis County and one warrant from Cooper County. A search also revealed drugs and drug paraphernalia. Blankenship was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a total bond of $13,500.00. The report is being sent to the prosecutor for review.

 

Around 1:20 Saturday morning (Nov 12), Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Ingram and East 14th Street. The driver was revoked. 34-year old John Roger Dory was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.

 

On Friday (Nov 11), officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Sneed Avenue for a report of property damage. The victim stated that sometime over the last couple days, someone had shot the rear window of SUV, with a pellet gun. According to that report, the window was destroyed. The estimated cost to repair the window, was placed at $1,000.00. There were no further details listed in that report.
