Sedalia Police Dept. Arrest Reports for March 12, 2018
On March 11, a man reportedly went to the Sedalia Police Department to turn himself in for a warrant. According to the report, police confirmed the suspect, 63-year old David L. Marriott, of Otterville, had a FTA warrant for 1st Degree Sexual Assault from Benton County. Marriott was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.
On March 11, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. Washington Ave and East St. Louis Street for a vehicle with license plate issues. Investigation revealed the driver had a probation violation warrant from Howard County. The driver, 32-year old Gregory T. Caton, of Marshall, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail with bond of $10,000.
On Friday (Mar 9), Sedalia Police arrested 40-year old Farris A. Higginbotham for two warrants. One warrant was out of Henry County with a bond of $5,000. The other warrant was for a parole violation that carried no bond. Higginbotham was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
On Friday (Mar 9), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 200 block of S. Missouri Ave to assist DFS. One suspect, 23-year old Devyn C. Welch, reportedly had a misdemeanor probation violation warrant. Welch was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail with a $2,500 bond.
