
Sedalia Man Arrested for Drug Trafficking, Possession & Delivery
On July 17, 2025, shortly before 9 a.m., Sedalia Police Detectives with the Crime Resolution Unit executed two drug-related search warrants as part of an investigation into the suspected distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl in Sedalia.
The warrants were served on the suspect's vehicle during a traffic stop and at the suspect’s residence located at 1509 East 4th Street.
The investigation led to the discovery of fentanyl, methamphetamine, plastic baggies, and digital scales, all of which are items commonly associated with the use, sale and distribution of illegal drugs.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold.

Randy Baker, 63, of Sedalia, faces the following charges:
*Delivery of a controlled substance
*2nd degree drug trafficking (fentanyl)
*Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine and fentanyl)
