Sedalia Police Investigating Death of Man With Gunshot Wound; Reward Offered

On Saturday morning at 6:40 a.m., Sedalia Police responded to the 700 block of E. 17th on a report of a man lying in the roadway.

Upon arrival, officers located a deceased white male, identified as Robert G. Fox, Jr., with an apparent gunshot wound, lying in the street.

A preliminary investigation is under way, according to Sedalia Police Chief Matt Wirt.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact the SPD at 827-7823, ext. 1247 and ask for Det. John Fellows.

Pettis County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for the death of Robert G. Fox Jr. Call (660) 827-TIPS.
