Sedalia man arrested after flagging police down Thursday afternoon

According to a Sedalia police report, a subject flagged down a police patrol car at Broadway and New York at 12:39 Thursday afternoon. A subsequent check on the subject revealed he had an active felony warrant out of Pettis County for receiving stolen property. The police report states 18-year-old De’Ante Marshall of Sedalia was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $5000 bond. There was no information on the reason Marshall flagged the patrol car down.

Sheriff’s office took a theft from a vehicle complaint from a Georgetown man

At 6:37 this morning, a Georgetown man reported the theft of a stereo from one of his dump trucks. The theft took place in the 21000 block of Highway “H” according to the Pettis County Sheriff’s report. An investigation continues in the case.

Paramedic from Sedalia injured in an ambulance accident in Benton County

Around 4:20 Thursday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a rollover accident involving a Warsaw District Ambulance. According to the accident report, the ambulance was responding to an accident scene when the driver of the 2011 Ford Ambulance, 28-year-old Ryan Rohr of Sedalia, lost control on wet pavement, left the roadway and overturned in a ditch. A paramedic in the ambulance, 38-year-old Kerry Keyes of Sedalia, received minor injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by ambulance for treatment.

Lafayette County accident injures two Odessa residents Thursday afternoon

At 1:25 Thursday afternoon, Two people from Odessa were reported injured in an accident that occurred on Missouri 131 at Steep Hill Road in Lafayette County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report,  40-year-old Patricia Keys lost control of her 2003 Chevrolet as it hydroplaned on water in the roadway. The vehicle then ran off of the roadway and struck a ditch. Keys and her passenger, 41-year-old Michelle Dunn, received moderate injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
