Sedalia Police Reports for December 15, 2019

On Friday morning at 9th and Osage, Sedalia Police arrested 50-year-old Aaron C. Blondell of Sedalia after conducting a traffic stop for expired and mis-registered plates. He was found to be driving while revoked. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released. His passenger, 21-year-old Daniel R. Blondell, was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released with a summons.
On Friday morning around 8 a.m., Sedalia Police arrested 24-year-old Heather Renee Higgins of La Monte at 14th and Limit. A computer check revealed Higgins was wanted on a Municipal warrant for a traffic offense. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a $150 cash bond.
On Friday morning around 9 a.m., a woman reported the theft of a white 2010 Chevy Silverado sometime overnight. According to a report, the keys were left in the unlocked vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered near a field in the 2100 block of South Marvin in Sedalia. There are no suspects in the case.
On Thursday night around 10:25 p.m. at 11th and Beacon, Sedalia Police arrested 25-year-old Alexandr Shalnev of Sedalia after conducting a traffic stop on a gray Honda Accord. The driver was found to be driving while revoked and was also wanted on a Municipal warrant. Shalnev was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released on a $100 bond. He now has a Jan. 22 court date.
Sedalia Police arrested 38-year-old Quinton Noel Gano after conducting a subject check at 10th and Lafayette at 5:41 a.m. Thursday. Gano of Sedalia was taken to the Pettis County Jail on $4,500, $2,000 and $2,500 bonds.
On Thursday, a Sedalia woman reported that someone obtained her Skylight Visa card info and used it to make a $26.80 purchase. The card was then shut down.
On Thursday, Sedalia Police arrested 22-year-old Dillon James Pettis of Sedalia in the 800 block of W. 6th at 1:58 a.m. after conducting a warrant check. Pettis was wanted on an Pettis County FTA warrant with a $250 cash bond. Pettis was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
On Wednesday, Sedalia Police took a burglary report in the 1700 block of South Park. Clothing valued at $500 was taken from a residence sometime over the past two weeks.
On Wednesday night, Sedalia Police arrested 41-year-old Brandi Lynn Rockett for driving while revoked after conducting a traffic stop at 19th and Washington for expired registration. Rockett was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released.
On Wednesday, Sedalia Police arrested 42-year-old Jason Scott Klein in the 1900 block of S. Prospect after conducting a warrant check. Klein was wanted on a Pettis County warrant with a $25,000 cash or surety bond, a Morgan County warrant with a $300 cash bond and a Municipal warrant with a $60 cash bond. He now has a Dec. 18 court date.
On Thursday evening, Sedalia Police arrested 25-year-old Rodrigo Quetzecua Marcos of Sedalia at 17th and Collins after a traffic stop on a white Chevy Blazer traveling west on 16th for no license plate lights. Marcos was found to be driving while revoked. He was taken to the SPD where he was booked and released with a Jan. 22 court date.
On Thursday evening, Sedalia Police arrested 45-year-old Jerry Wayne Mullins of Smithton after conducting a subject check on a felony parole violation. Mullins was taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.
