Sedalia Police reports 12-30-19

On Saturday morning, Sedalia Police took a report of a stolen Chevy Malibu from the 1400 block of W. Broadway. According to the report, the vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.


 

On Saturday, Sedalia Police took a report of a stolen 2001 Toyota Echo from Casey's while the owner was inside at 716 W. 16th. The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.


 

Sedalia Police took a report of a stolen vehicle at 108 West Pacific that was taken on Saturday. The suspect is known, according to the report.


 

On Saturday at 1 p.m. at 2nd and Kentucky, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop and found that 43-year-old Andre Lorenzo Watts of Sedalia, was a fugitive from justice. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check at a residence in the 800 block of South Marshall on Friday morning and arrested 34-year-old Ryan James Camero Tuttle on a Pettis County warrant for obstruction of a court order. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. His court date was to be determined.


 

On Saturday Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of West Main and discovered that 38-year-old Maria Del Socorro Lowe was wanted on a Pettis County warrant for possession of methamphetamine. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $7,500 cash or surety bond.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 7th and Ohio Sunday and found that 40-year-old Alvaro Apolinar of Sedalia was driving while revoked. He was taken to the SPD for fingerprinting then issued a citation with a Jan. 29 court date.


 

On Sunday, Sedalia Police took an assault report from 21-year-old Kayla E. Fletcher of Sedalia in the 300 block of E. 2nd at 1:04 a.m. The victim had minor injuries, according to the report. She also reported a $99 phone stolen. Charges are being pursued. Then at 1:49 a.m., Fletcher was arrested in the SPD lobby on a misdemeanor Pettis County warrant with a $140 cash bond. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail and booked.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and Ohio at 5:52 a.m. Saturday on a vehicle with no tail lights and improper registration. A computer check revealed that 46-year-old Chad E. Ashley of Sedalia was driving while suspended. He also had no insurance. Ashley was taken to the SPD, booked and released with a Feb. 5 court date.


 

On Saturday, Sedalia Police stopped 47-year-old Jason William Harvey while he was walking near 7th and Kentucky. A computer check revealed he was wanted on a Morgan County probation violation. Harvey was taken to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


 

On Saturday afternoon, 21-year-old Perry P. Crawford of Sedalia was arrested at the SPD for violation of an ex parte at Fairview Nursing Home. Crawford was taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. at Main and Thompson and discovered that 59-year-old Charles Benny of Syracuse was wanted on a Morgan County warrant for a traffic offense. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $300 cash bond. He now has a Jan. 21 court date.


 

Sedalia Police were called to the 800 block of West 3rd on a report of property damage in progress. A Municipal summons was issued to 22-year-old Miguel Matacua. There was reportedly $75 in damage done. Matacua was taken by PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center. He now has a Feb. 5 court date.


 

On Friday morning, a woman reported that someone broke into her storage unit at RacJac Storage, 3505 Green Ridge Road, and stole several items.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no registration at 24th and Marvin Friday afternoon. Karen L. White of Pettis County was an occupant in the vehicle and was wanted on a Municipal FTA warrant for driving while suspended. White was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $60 bond. She now has a Feb. 19 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 14th and Moniteau at 11:23 a.m. Friday and discovered that Victoria C. M. Brown of Blue Springs was wanted on three Pettis County misdemeanor warrants. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a total bond amount of $646.


 

On Friday at 7:53 p.m. Sedalia Police responded to 19th and Lafayette on an assault in progress. The suspect, 17-year-old Zariah S. Gilmore of Sedalia, fled the scene, but was located shortly thereafter, according to the report. She is accused of striking the victim with a curtain rod, then punching the victim, causing minor injuries. Gilmore was issued a Municipal summons with a Feb. 5 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 31-year-old Trey Jahmeil Hayes of Sedalia at 10:24 p.m. Friday at 808 E. Broadway. Hayes was wanted on a Pettis County misdemeanor warrant with a $177 cash bond. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Friday, Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 290 block of Keith Allen Drive and discovered that 50-year-old Teresa A. Estes was wanted on a Pettis County warrant for possession of amphetamine. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.


 

On Friday, a woman reported that she had $200 of property stolen from the 2100 block of W. 3rd. The suspect was identified and charges are being requested.
