Sedalia Police reports 12-4-19

Sedalia Police arrested 25-year-old Nicholas Huerta of Sedalia after conducting a traffic stop on Tuesday. He allegedly was selling drugs to the other occupants of the car. Police attempted to stop the vehicle near Grand and Clinton, but failed to yield and it stopped at 24th and Grand. Huerta was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and driving while revoked.


 

Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Welch Court just after 6:30 p.m. Monday. Police identified a male at the residence and discovered that 24-year-old Dustyn Lane Eppenauer was wanted on 11 FTA Municipal warrants for various traffic violations. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a total bond amount of $600. Eppenauer now has a Dec. 4 court date.


 

On Monday morning, Sedalia Police arrested 23-year-old Brianna M. Rogers of Sedalia at James and Clinton Road. A computer check revealed she was driving while suspended. Rogers was released with a citation and a court date.


 

On Monday morning, a man reported damage to his car at 900 Westwood. According to a report, the damage was possibly caused by a hammer, which left a dent and black marks on the driver's side rear door. There are no suspects.


 

A woman reported the theft of $174.99 of items in the 100 block of South Prospect on Monday morning.


 

On Nov. 27, police received a hotline call about a sex crime involving a juvenile. Investigation is under way.
