Sedalia Police reports 2-6-18
On Saturday morning at 1:50 a.m., Sedalia Police arrested 20-year-old Ali Morgan Bankovich of Pettis County after a traffic stop near Broadway and Moniteau. According to a report, the driver was wanted on a probation violation with a $350 bond. A subsequent search revealed a bag of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Sedalia Police arrested 33-year-old James Michael Green of Sedalia for Driving While Intoxicated after officers were called to Casey's, 3050 S. Limit, on a subject passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle with the engine running. Green was found to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was fingerprinted, booked and released. He now has a March 14 court date.
Jessica Nichole Kennedy, 33, Sedalia, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana after Sedalia Police conducted a subject check in the 800 block of W. 7th on Sunday night. A consent to search revealed a blunt in the suspect's left pants pocket. Kennedy was issued a Municipal summons and released with a court date.
Sedalia Police responded to the 1000 block of Center just after 6 p.m. Sunday on a possible burglary with weapons. It was later determined that it was a domestic violence situation. The victim was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for medical treatment for injuries to his back and head. The suspect, 41-year-old Dillon W. Davis, was charged with 2nd Degree Domestic Violence and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
On Monday, Sedalia Police took a report from Jessica L. Kirkpatrick, who said she was assaulted in the 2600 block of Dennis Road, which resulted in minor injuries. A charge of assault against the suspect is being sought and submitted to the prosecutor.
