Sedalia Police Reports for January 26, 2020
On Jan. 23, a Sedalia Police officer observed a wanted person get into a motor vehicle. An investigative stop was made at Broadway and Montgomery around 10 p.m. and found that 41-year-old Virgil L. Taylor was wanted on a Warrensburg FTA warrant. Taylor was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $450 cash or surety bond.
On Jan. 23, Sedalia Police arrested 23-year-old Darryn T. Frain of Sedalia in the 1200 block of Stewart for violation of ex parte after he was served with an ex parte order earlier in the day and later returned to the address. Frain was arrested, then released at the scene following an investigation.
On Jan. 23, a man reported someone backed into his vehicle at Taco Bell, 820 South Limit, then left the area. The vehicle was later identified and a possible suspect. Investigation continues.
On Jan. 23, a woman reported property damage which occurred overnight in the 400 block of E. Jackson, causing $465 of damage.
On Jan. 22, a man reported a hit and run that occurred to his 2008 GMC. The report noted there was moderate damage to the truck's front driver's side.
