Monday afternoon, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the area of the 900 block of Mitchell Road in regard to a theft which had occurred at a construction site for the Deer Brook Villas. Tiffiny Schluter of Keith Schluter Construction reported that someone had broken the lock for the construction trailer and stole two items with an aggregate value of $246.98.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Missouri Avenue Monday afternoon in regard to a theft which occurred over the weekend at the complainant's business, El Amigo Used Tire Shop, 2409 West Broadway. Margarita Lopez stated that Monday morning they noticed 20 tire rims missing. The rims were valued at $60 each. There is no suspect information at this time.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 900 block of Crescent Drive for a report of a burglary in progress last Friday morning. Lleanna A Clemons reported that a subject known to her attempted multiple times to force entry into her residence. In one of the attempts, the suspect broke the glass out of the front door. Charges for Attempted Burglary in the 2nd Degree and Property Damage are being requested through the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office.
